Decorating for Easter, For the first time on a tight budget.

So Easter.is coming up, and I decided to get into the spirit this year. I didn’t want to go too crazy on Easter this year. But, I wanted to be excited. So I went to Walmart, and decided my budget was about  10 to 20 dollars.  I walked up to the Easter display and I saw the cutest  Easter wreath . I looked at the price and they wanted $ 25. Now I had already fallen in love with the idea of hanging a wreath on my front door. So I wonder how hard would it be to make one.

I went to the craft section in Walmart and decided to to view my options. I found a wooded wreath for $ 3.95. Then I picked up  some  bright  pink ribbon for 2.77. I decided to go back to the Easter display for things to hang one the wreath. I found these cute butterflies and bunnies for $ 1.50 each. Then for the words that spelled ,”Easter.” For 94¢. I felt that was enough materials for my wreath.

But, since I had some money left over in my budget, I decided to pick up  some cute window stickers for 94¢ each. I decided to pick up three. I also found a cute table clothe and an egg center piece for $1.50 each. I had spent a total of  $13.61. I felt that I had enough decorations So I didn’t feel the to spend any more

Now, I will tell you  how to make the Wreath. How I did it was, I tied  the pink ribbon around the the wreath once. To have a starting point. Then I just wrapped the ribbon around the wreath until I felt the pink was enough   I then again tied the rest and hot glue the ribbon at the end point.

Then I aligned my decorations around the the wreath.until I got the desired design. One a, side note when I bought the butterflies and the bunnies, I didn’t know they stuck together. So I solve this by simply cutting the apart with scissors  Then I took a hot glue gun and glued the decorations on to the wreath. I finish by taking ribbon and tying  to the wreath for hanging.

My Wreath Finished

I made the center piece with the left over supplies  from the wreath. I took an old candle holder I had and lay the bunnies and rabbits around  the plate. The I simply place the egg in the center around the Bunnies and butterflies. That’s how easy it was!

My Table clothe, and my center piece.
